(…) The dead root and stubbles, constituting the mulched materials, disappeared at the rate of <70% during Kharif crop and <40% in the Rabi crop. The mean monthly nematode dry mass was 43.24±29.1 mg m −2 with a turnover of 4.7 for the upland and 5.41±2.67 mg m −2 with a turnover value of 3.8 for the lowland.
