The invention has the following technical effects: when the interior of the flat-plate collector reaches a certain temperature due to idle sunning, the temperature-sensitive phase-change dimming material on the surface of the glass is subject to phase change, the transmission of the cover plate of the collector is changed, and the transparent state is switched to a light-tight sate, so that an automatic light shading function is performed, the solar absorber plate core is prevented from continuous heat absorption which results in temperature rise, accordingly, idle sunning is avoided, and the service life of the product is prolonged; and when the collector decreases to a certain temperature, the solar radiation transmission of the cover plate of the collector is changed, the light-tight state is switched to the transparent state, and the normal working state recovers.
