Monitoring of Temperature Gradient Effects on the Mechanical Behavior of a Real Ballastless Track Structure

A new ballastless track structure based on concrete slabs (designed and tested in laboratory) was built in France at the beginning of 2013 and is in service since the December 2013. To verify the numerical model, a monitoring of sections of the structure is performed continuously. Data collected were compared to the results of finite element simulations. In this paper, a focus is made on the mechanical behavior of the track slabs with thermal gradients. doi: 10.12783/SHM2015/261
