Follower Attributional Biases and Assessments of Female and Male Leaders' Performance.

1586 male and female cadets completed questionnaires describing their unit leaders at two training activities. MANOVA's and univariate ANOVA's were conducted to determine if follower attitudes toward women in the military introduced any bias in judgments about the success of female and male leaders and attributions regarding causes of performance.
