Clinical Study on Neck Pain of Cervical Spondylosis Treated with Different Doses of Jing Moxibustion

2019
Objective: To evaluate the short-term efficacy and safety of moxibustion with different dose in treating neck pain of cervical spondylosis by randomized controlled study, and to explore the dose effect relationship of moxibustion therapy. Method: The two groups selected the same point, the treatment group moxibustion to patients with special moxibustion sensation (such as conductive heat, other non-thermal sensation, etc.), the control group moxibustion operation with the treatment group, each point for 7 does treatment. Every three days, the interval of treatment was more than 72 hours. Subjects received treatment twice a week. Eight treatments were completed as one course of treatment. The main outcome indicators were Northwick Park scale. Result: The cure rate was 10% in the treatment group, the effective rate was 93.33%, the cure rate of the control group was 0%, the effective rate was 83.33%. Comparison between the two groups by rank and test, the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion: Jing moxibustion has a good short-term and medium-term effect on cervical spondylosis, which can improve the quality of life of patients, and suggest that moxibustion sensation and skin reaction degree are reasonable dimensions of moxibustion control.
