This diploma thesis treat of marketing mix in retail which main subjekt of business activity is retail sale of furniture and home's accessories. The work is divided into theoretic and practical part. The theoretic part includes the basic knowledges about the retail and tools of the marketing mix which are used in the retail. The practical part includes the charakteristic the company J & H, spol. s r.o., the analyse of its position in the market and the actual situation of the retail mix. Base on acquired informations the project of better retail mix utilization for strengthening competition position of this company is worked out.
