Latent heat storage body, latent heat storage body manufacturing method and heat exchange material

2015
In this latent heat storage body (100), the surface of a core particle (10) formed from a metal or alloy latent heat storage material is covered by an oxide film of a compositional element of the core particle (10), thus obviating the need for a step for separately producing the core particle and the oxide film (20), which corresponds to a shell accommodating the core particle, and then accommodating the core particle inside of the shell. Further, because there is no expansion of the core particles during a phase transformation from a solid phase to a liquid phase, the components of the dissolved latent heat storage material remain inside spaces covered by the oxide film and the oxide film is not damaged. Furthermore, the oxide film (20) can be made chemically stable.
