3ㆍ1운동의 마지막 만세시위 검토

2019
On March 1, 1919, the March 1st Movement began in seven cities, including Seoul. As the name suggests, the starting point of March 1st Movement is clear. However, there was no clear explanation for when and how the movement ended. This paper aims to establish the last Man-se demonstrations of the March 1st Movement. The Japanese imperialists recognized the scope until the end of April and the independence activists recognized until the end of May. Apart from the two, the situation of the Movement continued from June to August based on the period of operation of the temporary department, changes in the reporting system of the Chosen Army''s staff, the process of removing the deployment of the suppressive forces, and the number of arrestees in 1919. A change in the subject, condition, and manner of exercise can be seen in the Man-se demonstration since May 1919. For about a month from July 1, special demonstrations were staged around Seodaemun Prison. This was the last time for the March 1st Movement and the signal for the new movement.
