Optical Characterization of Coral Skeleton with Low-Coherence Enhanced Backscattering Spectroscopy

We have implemented Low-coherence Enhanced Backscattering (LEBS) as a tool for non-invasively measuring optical properties. We observe that coral skeletons that are susceptible to bleaching have smaller reduced scattering coefficients and fractal dimensions.
