Infant & Toddler Sign Language is a communication system which allows communication before children can express themselves verbally. My thesis deals with a baby communication in general - verbal and nonverbal communication, communication in term of developmental psychology, system of Baby Signs, programmes by Diane Ryan, Stacy A. Thompson and a system by Terezie Vasilovcik Sustova. This thesis confronts all of these programmes.
