There are several general expressions and properties for the famous second order Fibonacci sequence. Some methods such as induction, generation function and matrix were used to research intensively on fifth order Fibonacci se-quence to acquire three representations of the general term formula, the representations of summation of the first n terms and its associated similar properties such as Fibonacci sequence. The results of the research extend the conclusions of Fibo-nacci sequence.
