Analysis of Drug Adverse Reaction in 125 Aged Peoples

OBJECTIVE: To investigate drug adverse reaction occurred in aged people.METHODS: Statistical analysis was carried out according to the ages,sex of the cases,drug usage,main manifestation.time of occurrence and level of severity of ADR. RESULTS: Of 125 cases, 81 were male,44 were female,their average age was (69.12 ± 7.38 )years old.68 drugs were involved.Main drugs were antiinfective drugs (47.2%),next was the drugs for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases (25.6%).Main manifestation of ADR was systemic damage,then was the damage to skin and mucous membrane. 8 cases suffered from severe damage.The main way of medication was IV injection.CONCLUSION: Monitoring of ADR in aged people should be strengthened in order to ensure the safety of drug usage.
