Understanding Strain Performance Considerations in Composite Repair of Dents and SCC

This paper reviews the key strain principles behind the technical design regarding the effect of a repair and reinforcement of steel pipelines with composite sleeves and composite wraps. Data is presented for the repair of large strains–dents, and the repair of small localized strains–SCC cracks.Copyright © 2010 by ASME
