The Work and Activities Section

The MD/PhD primary application requires applicants to list and discuss their most important experiences and activities. This chapter aims to address many of the questions that applicants have about the main types of activities and entries that can be listed, how to choose which experiences to include, how to discuss these activities, how to combine related activities, and how to select the most meaningful activities for further discussion. This chapter systematically describes how to present each type of activity and addresses technical considerations related to the AMCAS application by thoroughly analyzing a sample entry.
