Van Ayanis Kalesinden Ele Geçen Ok Uçları Üzerine Genel Bir Değerlendirme

Urartian Kingdom has been existed on specific geography located among Van, Urmia and Sevan Gokce lakes over the three hundered years. The magnificent castles distrubuted all around the Urartu Land are one of sharpest archaeological evidence of this kingdom. Ayanis Castle placed on eastern shore of Van lake is one of the well preserved Urartian castles. This castle was built by last known grand Urartian king, II. Rusa. The excavations has been continued at Ayanis Castle since 1989 presented very rich data group related to Urartian Culture varied from monumental architecture to botanic remains. The metal objects is a substantial subgroup of this rich data group. The arrow-heads which is subjected to this workshop have a place in this subgroup. As a result of excavations continued for almost thirty years approximate to 2000 arrow-heads have been obtained. A smal group of them has been published in Ayanis I discussed first ten years of Ayanis Excavations. The new period of Ayanis Excavations has been started in 2013 peresented new arrow-heads samples. This essay is aimed to present a general evaluation about all arrow-heads which has been discovered at Ayanis Castle since 1989
