Beziehung zwischen den Wegen der C-Aufnahme und SO2-Resistenz bei Koniferen

Summary Relation of SO 2 -resistance and C 4 -type of the CO 2 -fixation were studied in clones and seedlings of Picea abies, Larix leptolepis and Larix decidua . Larix leptolepis a SO 2 -tolerant species as well as Larix decidua according to the δ 13 C-values (−28,7 and −29‰) are both typical C 3 -species. δ 13 C-values of Picea abies were found to range between −32.4 and −23.4‰ before and after fumigation with SO 2 both resistant and no resistant individuals. This view is supported by results of determination of the relation phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase: ribulosebisphosphate- carboxylase. The results suggest that determination of δ 13 C-values is no usefull tool in studying the SO 2 -resistance and in screening of SO 2 -tolerant individuals of Picea abies.
