Treatment of Naval Vessel Oil-bearing Wastewater by Hydrolysis Acidification/Biological Contact Oxidation Process

2010
The combined process of hydrolysis acidification and biological contact oxidation was used to treat naval vessel oil-bearing wastewater after oil separation, and the treatment efficiency and in-fluencing factors were investigated. The results show the treatment of naval vessel oil-bearing wastewater by the combined process is feasible. When the influent salt concentration is 25 g/L,COD is 550 to 600 mg/L,oil is 25 to 30 mg/L,water temperature is 25 to 30 ℃ and HRT is 18 h,the total removal rates of COD and oil are 93% and 96%,and the effluent COD and oil contents are able to meet the discharge standard. The hydrolysis acidification process can improve the biodegradability of oil-bearing wastewater, and its optimal HRT is 10 h.The treatment effect can reduce when water temperature drops. The com-bined process has high salinity tolerance, and the impact of low salinity on the combined process is less than the impact of high salinity.
