The method comprises: an electronic terminal receives a slide operation with respect to a target image on a touchscreen, where the slide operation comprises slide direction information and intensity information of a force being applied on the touchscreen (S201); the electronic terminal analyzes a range to which the intensity information of the force pertains and, when the intensity information of the force falls within a first preset range, rotates the target image in the direction indicated by the slide direction information (S202). The method increases the efficiency of image processing for a user.
