2D Otsu 방법을 개선한 적외선 영상분할

Segmentation of infrared target images in a sea or sea-sky background is considered in this paper. 2D Otsu method uses both gray level distribution and spatial information. Then PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm is performed to update the solution on the ROI(Region of Interest). It often gets better performance. Experimental results show that proposed method provides more enhanced detection compared with the conventional Otsu method.
