Design of Positioning Technical Equipment of Ear- flake Hole on Rudder Beam

Concentricity of ear- flake hole on the rudder beam is an important part of geometric tolerance,which affects the assembly precision. Concentricity of ear- flake hole is critical dimensions and tolerances demanding in the parts digifax. Based on the structural characteristics of the parts,we design a positioning technical equipments which consist of a diamond pin,a cylindrical pin and a planar support component to ensure concentricity requirements of parts. We also use ingenious structural design like a combination of bushings and removable boot devices to meet the process requirements.Convenient parts clamping and reliable positioning equipments have processed qualified rudder beam parts which have been assembly verified to ensure the entire assembly precision requirements. This equipment is applicable to mass production of parts which also has great reference value for other similar products.
