Kant : ética material y ética empírica

2007
Kant's moral formalism starts from the assumption that all practical material principle is empirical and therefore cannot constitute a moral law. This present text rigorously sheds light on how to understand this kantian assumption. To do this, it proposes to explain what does Kant understands as practical empirical principle and practical material principle and why, on his judgment, all practical material principle necessarily and always is empirical. Only after having established precisely the terms concerning the problem is possible to proceed with the discussion -a discussion that remains open- whether this kantian thesis is acceptable or if it is possible to conceive cognoscible practical principles however a priori which will not lead to the formalist consequence of kantian ethics.
