Inelastic shadow correction for hadron-deuteron elastic scattering

Abstract We calculate the inelastic screening effect in hadron-deuteron elastic scattering, using a new technique. The main idea is to calculate explicitly the complex cut integral in the M 2 plane, using an ansatz for the asymptotic behaviour of the six-point amplitude. In the hypothesis of pomeron dominance that contribution is real and small.
