The invention relates to aqueous dispersions of nanoparticle composite, wherein the composite materials comprise at least one fragrance and an organic carrier material and the particles have an average particle diameter in the range of 1 to 500 nm. the fragrances contained in them are slowed released from the composite materials. Therefore, the composite materials are preferably suitable for long-lasting scenting of substrates, in particular textiles and keratin fibers.
