KINERJA INVERTER MULTILEVEL SATU FASA MENGGUNAKAN TEKNIK PENSAKLARAN SPWM UNIPOLAR DAN BIPOLAR

Inverter multilevel merupakan konverter listrik DC-AC yang dapat menghasilkan keluaran tegangan dan arus lebih dari dua tingkat dengan nilai distorsi gelombang yang lebih rendah dibandingkan inverter konvensional. Penelitian ini membahas perbandingan kinerja dari inverter multilevel cascade H-bridge satu fasa lima tingkat dan tujuh tingkat dengan metode pensaklaran SPWM unipolar dan bipolar . Kinerja inverter multilevel yang dibandingkan adalah nilai tegangan dan arus keluaran serta nilai THD (Total Harmonics Distortion) . Pengujian dilakukan dengan menambah tingkat level rangkaian inverter, mengubah frekuensi switching dan indeks modulasi inverter multilevel. Hasil pengujian diperoleh rangkaian inverter multilevel tujuh tingkat memiliki nilai THD lebih rendah daripada inverter multilevel lima tingkat, teknik pesaklaran SPWM unipolar memiliki nilai THD lebih rendah daripada SPWM bipolar , dan semakin besar frekuensi switching dan indeks modulasi mampu mereduksi nilai THD pada keluaran inverter multilevel. Hasil kinerja inverter multilevel diperoleh dengan simulasi dengan meggunakan aplikasi komputer PSIM 9.0. This study discusses the performance of a five level and seven level single-phase H-bridge cascade inverter using SPWM unipolar and bipolar switching methods. Multilevel inverter performance that is compared is the value of the output voltage and current and the value of THD (Total Harmonics Distortion). Testing is done by increasing the inverter level, changing the switching frequency and multilevel inverter modulation index. The test results obtained a seven level multilevel inverter circuit has lower THD values ​​than five level multilevel inverters, unipolar SPWM switching techniques have lower THD values ​​than bipolar SPWMs, and more frequency switching and modulation index are used to reduce THD values ​​on multilevel inverter inverters.
