The effect of magnetic field on holographic entanglement entropy

Applying the AdS/CFT correspondence, we study the entanglement entropy in strongly coupled \(\mathcal{N}=4\) supersymmetric Yang-Mills (SYM) plasma under the influence of a (constant) magnetic field \(\mathcal{B}\). We consider the entangling surface transverse and parallel to \( \mathcal{B}\), respectively. For both cases, it is shown that the inclusion of \( \mathcal{B}\) enhances the entanglement entropy. Moreover, we observe that in this case the entanglement entropy does not exhibit a transition due to \( \mathcal{B}\).
