Steerable electrode catheter assembly

2013
The present invention relates to a direction-adjustable electrode catheter assembly (100) comprising: a housing which is formed to be operated with a user′s hands and which has an upper body (111) and a lower body (112) capable of being separated into upper/lower sides respectively, wherein a hollow part is formed between the upper body (111) and the lower body (112); an outer member (120) which is formed into a tube shape and installed to be slid back and forth at the housing; a catheter (130) which is installed between the upper/lower bodies (111, 112) of the housing, wherein a tip part as the front end part of the catheter (130) runs forward and the rear end part of the catheter (130) is inserted into the outer member (120), and which includes a tip electrode (131) installed at the tip part as the front end part, a ring electrode (132), and a couple of wires (136, 137) connected to the tip electrode (131) and the ring electrode (132) respectively; a position adjusting member (140) which is installed in the housing and which adjusts the position of the outer member (120) by allowing the outer member (120) to move forward or backward at the catheter (130) and the housing; and a direction adjusting member (150) which is installed in the housing and which pulls at least one of the couple of wires (136, 137) of the catheter (130).
