Determination of the corrosion rate of powder materials by electrochemical methods

The application of polarization and impedance measurements to determine the corrosion rate of porous materials and those infiltrated with copper, produced by powder metallurgy, in neutral chloride electrolyte is examined. The determination of the corrosion rate of porous powder materials per true surface area in view of their heterogeneity is described.
