Method of identifying agents which modulate the activity of calcium-activated chloride channel

2008
PURPOSE: A method for identifying drug which controls protein activation is provided to prevent or treat diseases caused by calcium-activating chloride channel malfunction. CONSTITUTION: A method for identifying drug which controls protein activation of transferring chloride comprises: a step of exposing cells to the drug, which express proteins; and a step of measuring chloride ion transfer degree in exposed cells. The protein has an amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 or a sequence having 90% or more identical amino acid sequence.
