III. Budget Cuts Impact to Student Services

Child Care grants will receive a 15% budget cuts which could potentially eliminate a child a program at the center. The president is considering options. In financial aid, B-FAB money may increase because of the steady increase in participation which is up 20%. Sub and release budget is being reduced will affect enrollment. There isn’t an official recruiter position since Martha Perez will return to her position with financial aid. Recruitment will suffer without a recruiter because no one will continue to recruit our students from our feeder high schools. Counseling can no longer subsidize the articulation officer salary starting July 1 st . The articulation officer will need to be funded through another source.
