Refers to an isolated antibody or fragment antigen binding thereof which binds to the F protein of human respiratory syncytial viruses (RSV), wherein the antibody or fragment antigen binding comprises a variable region CDR heavy chain 1 comprising the amino acid sequence of SEQ ID NO: 1, a variable region CDR2 heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 2, a variable region of CDR3 heavy chain comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 3, a variable region CDR1 light chain comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 4, a variable region of the light chain CR2 comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 5 and a variable region CDR3 light chain comprising the amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 6. Also it relates to isolated nucleic acids encoding these antibodies, an expression vector comprising the nucleic acid and host cells transformed therewith. Furthermore, it relates to diagnostic methods, prophylactic and therapeutic that employ these antibodies, since they have high anti-RSV neutralizing titres, particularly as an agent passive immunotherapy in infants and the elderly.
