Flat air grid structure for glass tempering

2013
The utility model relates to a flat air grid structure for glass tempering. A plurality of air outlets are formed in the flat air grid structure, and used for wafting cooling air to the glass surface, wherein the air outlets are all towards the same direction and are used for wafting cooling air to the glass surface at the same angle of inclination to enable the flowing direction of the cooling air on the glass surface exhausted from any air outlet to be paralleled with the moving direction of the glass. As the flat air grid structure for glass tempering enables the flowing direction of cooling air to be in accordance with or be contrary to the glass moving direction, so that the flowing direction of the cooling air on the glass surface in the flat air grid structure is effectively controlled, the cooling air flows in the direction paralleled to the glass moving direction to the maximum extent, the order of the flowing of the cooling air is assured, the defect of warping of the glass, particularly the thin glass in the process of tempering and cooling, led by the uneven cooling of the surface of the whole glass plate brought by the conventional air grid structure, is overcome, and the processing quality of the glass is improved.
