Flotation of Azurite

1974
1. Our results show that sulfurated azurite is floatable reasonably well not only only by xanthates, but also by dixanthides. 2. Extraction of azurite increases with the length of the chain of the xanthate radical, but its flotation requires sulfuration, even when xanthates with long hydrocarbon radicals are used. 3. The use of dixanthide is desirable in the case of bulk flotation when desorption from the surfaces of the minerals is necessary for selective flotation.
