Cambio Global: El Antropoceno

The transformation of the planet’s natural processes has reached a magnitude so great that some scientists have formulated the idea that we live in a new geological Age: the Anthropocene. Humans are identified as the force of transformation on a global scale. There is much discussion about this, and about its effect on humankind’s own existence. The use of fossil fuel is recognized as the cause of a considerable increase in nitrous oxide, carbon dioxide, methane and new gases including chlorine-fluoro-carbons in the atmosphere. This situation challenges us to find new ways related to the biosphere that do not conflict with the very existence of humanity.
