Wireless streaming media video service system and method supporting fine granular data fragmentation

2016
The invention discloses a wireless streaming media video service system supporting fine granular data fragmentation, comprising a streaming media server and a mobile terminal. The invention further discloses a method applied to the wireless streaming media video service system supporting fine granular data fragmentation. The method comprises the following steps: step 1, the streaming media server performing fine granular fragmentation storage on coded streaming video data, and monitoring a request; step 2, the streaming media server maintaining information of the on-line mobile terminal; step 3, the mobile terminal maintaining a node, requesting the video data, and caching the video data to a current machine and a cache for sharing; and step 4, the mobile terminal transmitting the cached video data to a decoder of the current machine for decoding and playing. The system and the method have the advantages of quickly responding to the play request of a user under the conditions of instable wireless networks and large transmission delay, meeting the requirements of users for viewing and publishing video at any time and any place, etc.
