The research results of the structured surface relief parameters and properties influence on the blade steel resistance to solid or liquid particles impacts

Abstract Paper presents the results of a comparative erosion resistance of steel blade samples with pre-formed on their disordered relief surface with varying droplet and solid particles impact, typical to the wear processes of stationary and rotating blades surfaces of the powerful steam turbines first and last stages. As a result of experimental researches, the surface relief parameters were determined, which revealed the positive dynamics of 20kH13 steel erosion resistance growth, and also determined the impact parameters of solid or liquid particles under the conditions of their operational collision speeds, at which it’s maintained at selected laser parameters surface treatment.
