Chemical Investigation of the Stem Barks of Aporosa roxburghii

Two compounds were isolated from the dichloromethane crude extract of the stem barks from Aporosa roxburghii. Based on the spectral evidence, their structures were determined to be friedelan-3-one (1) and - sitosterol (2) This is the first report of occurrence of these compounds from A. roxburghii.
