Low frequency spectra of glycine

Abstract Inelastic incoherent neutron spectra are obtained for glycine and the frequency distribution is calculated in the one-phonon and cubic approximation. Based on the fact that the intensities of neutron peaks are weighted by the amplitude of motion of the protons, possible assignments of the peak positions are given and discussed.
