Metrology of the thermodiffusion coefficients in a ternary system

In a ternary mixture of dodecane, isobutylbenzene, and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphtalene, we succeeded in measuring the two thermodiffusion factors using the thermogravitational column technique, and applying the Furry-Jones-Onsager theory. We suggest correlating the thermodiffusion factors in the ternary system with those in the three binaries.
