Frequency-space-time block coded self-heterodyne OFDM using 4×2 MIMO

Self-heterodyne OFDM is an approach which is used to protect the millimeter wave system Versus frequency-offset and phase noise with minimizing RF frontend complexity comparing to conventional OFDM techniques. In this paper, the proposed frequency Space time block coded self-het OFDM (FSTBC) system with four transmitting antennas. The proposed technique uses space-time block code (STBC) to transmit the coded data symbols over the self-het OFDM subcarriers for every antenna. And the basic nonlinear detection is used on every of two receiving antennas. The simulation will prove that our proposed technique even if using different numbers of subcarriers, provides higher data rate and diversity compared to existing techniques.
