Based observer fault detection for uncertain delayed discrete-time switched systems: A reduced LMI size

In this paper, fault detection problem for uncertain discrete-time switched systems with state delay is studied. Sufficient conditions of building an observer are obtained by using multiple Lyapunov function. These condition are worked out in a new simple way to obtain new LMIs with slack variables and multiple weighted residual matrices. The obtained results are applied on a numerical example.
