Multiperiod gratings in a high refractive index material for enhanced OLED outcoupling

We produce multiperiod gratings in Ta2O5 using nanoimprint lithography in combination with reactive ion etching. The photoluminescence spectrum of an emitter layer on a multiperiod grating is demonstrated to exhibit multiple peaks of enhanced emission.
