Comprehensive Performance Evaluation and Research of RE-CCHP System

In order to efficiently utilize abundant renewable energy (RE) resources and meet the needs of users with diversified energy sources, RE can be used to realize combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) system. When RE is used as heat source or auxiliary power source, the system is stable and easy to control. However, many energy forms will lead to lower energy utilization and higher cost. Therefor other kinds of methods are needed to be found to evaluate the advantages and disadvantages of RE-CCHP. A multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) method based on Fuzzy-Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) is proposed to establish the index system of RE-CCHP system. The operation performance of RE-CCHP system under different RE strategies and the comprehensive operation performance are evaluated from four perspectives, which are economical, social, environmental, energy technological, taking the traditional distribution system as a reference. The research results can provide reference for the design and operation of RE-CCHP system.
