Efecto del nitrógeno de liberación lenta y cultivo de levadura en dietas altas en fibras en la alimentación de búfalos de agua

Four water buffaloes fitted with rumen cannulas were utilized in a 4x4 Latin Square to investigate the effect of Yeast Culture and the partial substituition of urea by a Slow-Release-Nitrogen on the digestion and rumen parameters. The experimental diets were urea (U), urea and Yeast (UL), Slow-Release-Nitrogen (O) and Slow-Release-Nitrogen and Yeast (OL). Slow-Release-Nitrogen substituted 84% of the urea in the O and OL treatments. The experimental periods had nine days of adaptation, five of degradability incubation and four of faeces collection
