KYSTE HYDATIQUE DU SEIN

The authors report a case of a internal hydatid cyst of the breast diagnosed in a 65 year old women. The patient, presented with a nodule of inferior and internal quadrant of the right breast of 3 cm of diameter, soft consistency, well limited, mobile and painless, without inflammatory phenomenon. Mammography showed a dense opacity, homogeneous, net contours, with arciform calcifications. A benign tumor was suspected, and it is the histological study that has straightened the diagnosis. The hydatid cyst of the breast is exceptional. The stay in endemic zone, clinical and radiological characters evoke the diagnosis which will be confirmed by histologic examination.
