RAZVOJ LEDINSKIH IMEN NA PODROCJU ZATOLMINA Z VISOKOGORSKIMI PLANINAMI

For the first time a complete overview of choronyms in the region of village Zatolmin by Tolmin with high-mountain pastures is given. Data is inserted in a digital orto photo image. We demonstrate how choronyms have been changing, understood and used in different cadasters, explain the origin ofsome by usingfolklore tales and etimology. Due to life style and value changes choronymes are becoming less known and are dissapearing. We introduce an example of reviving their use and make them interesting for younger generations.
