A method for producing a semifinished product from a polyamide-containing composite material

The invention relates to a method for producing a semifinished product from a polyamide-containing composite. The method comprises the steps of: a) providing a fiber and / or a metal body in a mold, wherein a surface of the fiber / metal body of a catalyst is bound to the oxidation of a cyclic amine to a lactam; b) adding a cyclic amine in the tool and catalytic conversion of the amine to the functionalized surface of the fiber / body to a lactam of the metal; and c) ring-opening polymerization of the lactam to give a polyamide.
