Se Nanoislands Formation on Bi 2 Se 3 by Femtosecond Laser Ablation

The Se nanoislands with amorphous and crystalline type were generated under femtosecond laser pulses irradiation on surface of Bi 2 Se 3 single crystal at room temperature and ambient pressure. The position dependence of diameter distribution of Se nanoislands has been found between 50–500 nm.
