Energy and Routing Efficiency in IoT: Proposal for Combined Approach

As the world moves towards increased automation, Internet of Things (IoT) based solutions are playing key role in various fields like Healthcare, Home Automation, Office automation, Automotive, Agriculture to realize this goal. However, deploying an IoT solution in these sectors requires it to be a cost-effective one. One of the major challenges today for reducing the cost is to reduce the end-to-end energy consumption and employ optimized routing techniques. Individual approaches have been proposed by researchers to address this issues, this paper combines some of these approaches and proposes the methodology to optimize energy and routing efficiently in heterogeneous network.
