Digital Reconstruction of a Historical Kabuki Theater

This paper proposes a novel web authentication mechanism. The users’ password and security answer are embedded into an image uploaded by the user to achieve mutual authentication between the user and the server. When the user logs in, the server must present the user’s uploaded photo. The user then can verify the photo to determine whether the server is genuine. The server also can authenticate the user’s identity by comparing the hash value of user’s password and user’s security answer which have been embedded into the photo.
