Studies on the effect of the lixivium of Cinnamomum camphora on peroxidase isozymes of Oncomelania hupensis

2003
The killing effect of Oncomelania hupensis by lixivium of root bark stem bark and leave of Cinnamomum camphora was studied. It is showed that the molluscicidal effect of the lixivium of Cinnamomum camphora is excellent. The molluscicidal effect of the root bark is better than stem bark and stem bark is better than leave .In addition, obvious effect of lixivium on peroxidase of Oncomelania hupensis is founded. The activity of enzyme is higher than control group after being disposed for one to three days and the activity of enzyme is the strongest on the fourth day. However, after five days' disposal the activity of the enzyme lowered greatly. During the process, some new enzyme bands appear ,some disappear.
